Learn more about Margarida

I am a dedicated Nurse with over 10 years of experience in the UK within the emergency, surgical and oncology/haematology fields. In 2014, I undertook the Central South Coast Network Programme to become a Registered Chemotherapy Nurse.

I worked for many years in both chemotherapy units/wards in several different hospitals. I have vast knowledge of clinical practices and an understanding of NHS Trusts and private practices.

I like to build a flexible relationship with my clients and be there for them, as and when needed. I am mindful to work at the client’s pace, and not the other way around. I use my knowledge and experience to support clients through cancer but, ultimately, help them feel empowered to make their own informed decisions.

We make a huge difference in people’s lives. From organising second opinions, to guiding people through their cancer treatments, and providing them with extended support with all aspects of life after cancer treatment, when regular visits to the hospital are no longer needed.

With Reframe, clients can easily talk to someone who knows about the cancer pathway, whether this is via the NHS and/or privately. We understand medical terminology and can explain in simple terms what was said in any appointments, and what the next steps will be. We can signpost to many different types of support and resources that are invaluable to helping people through their journey.

In my spare time I love to go on long walks in the countryside with my dog, and I also play violin.
