About me
I have 12 years experience in healthcare, supporting adults through various life challenges. My journey includes three rewarding years working in an NHS oncology ward, along with volunteering at the Macmillan Information Centre. These experiences have taught me that the impact of a cancer diagnosis extends beyond the individual; it profoundly affects their loved ones as well.
I am deeply passionate about helping others, whether it’s through listening, reassuring, signposting, booking appointments, or providing essential information. Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of being a good listener. Sometimes, people just need someone to talk to, especially when they find it difficult to express their feelings to family and friends.
At Reframe, we strive to create a welcoming, safe, and calm environment for those affected by cancer and their families. We provide emotional, practical, and clinical support, and knowing that we make a positive difference in someone’s life is the most rewarding part of my role as a Cancer Support Manager.
In my spare time, I love to stay active because food is my favourite part of the day! I enjoy daily walks, hitting the gym, and taking swimming classes. I also have a passion for travel, exploring new places both abroad and here in the UK.
